GridView: TemplateField Control

ASP.NET Tutorial: "GridView controls such as BoundField, ImageFieldand and HyperLinkField can be used only to display a named data field from the data source. However, a GridView also can contain columns of data that do not appear in the data source. For instance, you may wish to include a column of calculated values. The displayed values are not contained in the data source, although they may be derived from fields in the data source.
